June: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27
July: 3, 10, 11 (Note: No class on July 4th)

84 hours (80 hours of instruction + 4 hours for the final exam)

$420 (Regular price; textbook not included)

Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students for the North Carolina real estate license examination and to provide them with the fundamental knowledge required to act as licensed real estate brokers in North Carolina. The curriculum focuses on core competencies that foster professionalism and protect the public interest.

Required Textbook:
"Learn, Test, Pass: Real Estate Prelicensing for North Carolina" (available for purchase at Platinum Institute of Real Estate; shipping and handling fees may apply)

Provided Materials:

• North Carolina Real Estate Manual

• North Carolina License Law and Commission Rules booklet

• Platinum Institute Course Packet: Includes all necessary handouts, available for pickup on the first day of class.

Attendance Policy:
A minimum attendance of 90% is required. Students missing more than eight (8) hours, or the first day of class, must retake the course. There is no provision for making up missed time due to lateness or absences.

Participation and Completion Requirements:

• Active participation in bi-weekly practice exams.

• Completion of end-of-chapter quizzes one week prior to the final exam.

• A passing score of 75% on the final course examination is necessary for successful completion.

Final Exam Day:
The last day of class on July 11 includes 5 hours of final review and a 4-hour final examination.

Course Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Platinum Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses as needed. We require a minimum enrollment of ten (10) students. Affected students will be notified at least 24 hours in advance of any changes. Options available to affected students include rescheduling to another course or receiving a full tuition refund.
